本课程《微积分II》是电子信息类、机械类、土木交通类、电类、自动化类、计算机类、经济管理类等学科各专业本科教学计划中一门重要的公共基础课。本课程主要讲授多元函数微积分、无穷级数与常微分方程。通过本课程的学习，让学生了解多元函数微积分的基本概念，基本理论，掌握当中的运算技巧。在传授知识的同时，在教学中注意培养学生抽象思维能力、逻辑推理能力、空间想象能力和自学能力，特别是综合运用所学知识去分析问题和解决问题的能力。它在为学生学习后续的数学课程和专业课程提供必要的数学基础知识的同时，培养学生的综合数学素质。
《Calculus II》 is an important public basic course in the undergraduate teaching plan of electronic information, enginery, civil engineering and transportation, electricity, automation, computer, economic management and other majors, which mainly includes calculus for functions of several variables, infinite series and ordinary differential equations. Students are able to acquire the basic concepts, basic theories and computing skills of calculus for functions of several variables through the study of this course. While imparting knowledge, we pay attention to cultivating students’ abstract thinking ability, logical reasoning ability, spatial imagination ability and self-study ability in teaching, especially the ability to analyze and solve problems by comprehensively using the learned knowledge. It can not only provide the necessary mathematics basic knowledge for the students to study the following mathematics course and the specialized course, but also train the students’ mathematics quality.
